I’m glad you (and your cases) made it back safely. You had a productive time whilst away and sounds like you’ll be busy catching up on things the next few weeks. Those socks are fabulous. I actually think it’s good that you just keep wearing the same socks out of your big stash because when they wear out you can bring some new ones into your rotation, otherwise you wear all of them all the time they may all wear out the same time. I’ve hidden half of my husband’s bought socks for this very reason. When the ones in the drawer get holes I’ll unhide his back up pairs.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1717394370495529257.post-55485774778757263182023-01-25T19:20:39.672-08:002023-01-25T19:20:39.672-08:00Glad to hear your suitcases are safe at home. :) ...Glad to hear your suitcases are safe at home. :) And you too! That is a wonderful collection of knitted items you worked on while away. I'd love to see a photo of all your socks! :DBeckihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16940604077427078249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1717394370495529257.post-74505121080760189652023-01-24T20:44:46.548-08:002023-01-24T20:44:46.548-08:00WOW. Your Birdsong is still so amazing to me. Bet you get lots of compliments. I hear you on socks. Fortunately I have a few folks I can gift them to. Mine seem to last too so they don't really need many replacements. Sounds like you are enjoying settling back into your routines.Maureen Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02094562392012860836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1717394370495529257.post-13888085547663922862023-01-24T17:07:57.996-08:002023-01-24T17:07:57.996-08:00Welcome home. I’m in a group called Australians Knitting for War Affected Kids who annually send a shipping container full of hand made woollens and toys to Syrian refugee camps. Mittens I have managed, but not socks. You are so clever. <br />Wendy of The Rock Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
