Year of Projects - Here we go again



Welcome to my opening post for A Year Of Projects - Year 7. (Although only year 2 for me).

This week I finished one of my slipstripespiral socks and I am about 3 inches in on the second sock.



So here goes!

Knit Cowichan style sweater with homespun made with above fleeces

Scottish Ale for my hubby

Darning

four pairs

Destashing

make something with three balls of brown alpaca

made something from all the cotton I have or else give it away!

Charity

Knitted Knockers

Baby

Hat to match my Dizzy sweater

Leftover fingering odds and ends

Start another (smaller) sock yarn blanket

  1. You've got some good stuff on this list, like that Cowichan jumper project and dyeing your own yarn. And it sounds exciting how you plan to card your own fleece! Is that sock WIP a Cat Bordhi pattern?

  2. Very impressive list. Seems like you have been YOPer forever. I think you are the first person I have known that truly darns. I hope you post photos of the before and after of that.

  8. Looking forward to your Op-Art socks. I'm still contemplating whether to get the book or not - I have very small feet so usually patterns don't fit, it feels like wasting money buying a book with patterns I might not be able to use, but then again, those socks are so yummy to look at.
